Victory LM-260

This is an external constant readout field programmable frequency counter. It can be added to any sideband radio. It is designed with the Cobra 148 GTL in mind. The Cobra 148 GTL uses a 7.8 MHz IF. This counter will allow such radios that do not have a 10.695 MHz IF to work because it has set adjustments to display the proper readout.

The best part about this counter is it does not interfere with the output because it is not in-line with the output. The LM-260 is tied to the radio's mixer circuit, it includes all the parts needed to interface with a CB radio, a 51 ohm precision resistor and coupling capacitors .

These counters were made by a variety of different companies at one time, but now is only made by Victory. I was able to find just one distributer that had some in stock. I don't believe they will be made for much longer.
